Defensive comings and goings

BYU has added a defensive player and lost a defensive player.
Defensive back Ryan Comer, who starred at Lone Peak High and has been playing at Snow Junior College, is going to walk-on at BYU, while defensive tackle Tayo Fabuluje, who redshirted for the Cougars this season, is transferring to TCU.
With standout kat safety Andrew Rich graduating, Comer is expected to battle for playing time at that spot next fall. His cousin, Cameron, a Cougar defensive back, is currently serving a mission and will return to BYU this year.
Last week in Albuquerque, coach Bronco Mendenhall acknowledged that Fabuluje had been granted a release from his scholarship and was looking to transfer closer to home. Fabuluje, who hails from Arlington, Tex., will sit out next season due to NCAA transfer rules.
USC announced last week that defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo is transferring to BYU as a walk-on.
