Cougars jump in polls

With two impressive wins last week over Vermont and Arizona, the BYU Cougars moved up two spots in the Associated Press Top 25 poll from No. 18 to No. 16, and up three spots in the new ESPN/USA Today coaches’ poll, from No. 21 to No. 18.
As for BYU’s competition in the MWC, San Diego State is ranked No. 10 in the coaches’ poll and No. 11 in the AP poll. UNLV, despite a loss at Louisville, is No. 22 in both polls
The Cougars play next on Saturday against UCLA in Anaheim in the John Wooden Classic.
