Date of BYU's 2011 game vs. Oregon State changed
We’re still waiting to find out details about BYU’s 2011 football schedule, the Cougars’ first as an independent. Only a few dates have been set. As the Pac-10 released its schedule today, we’ve learned that BYU’s game against Oregon State has been changed from Sept. 3 to Oct. 15. The contest, which originally was scheduled to be the season-opener for both teams, will still be played in Corvallis.
In Week Two, on Sept. 10, BYU is scheduled to play at Texas (Oregon State will play at Wisconsin that day). The next week, the Cougars host Utah which is followed by home games against Central Florida and Utah State. BYU is also scheduled to play New Mexico State, Idaho and San Jose State at home, while playing at Hawaii, and at Louisiana Tech. No dates have been announced yet for those games.
