UNLV's off-season problems continue

For those who think losing Michael Loyd Jr. was devastating news for the BYU basketball program, the Cougars’ offseason troubles pare in comparison to the issues the UNLV Rebels are experiencing. First, forward Matt Shaw was booted for failing a drug test during last spring’s NCAA Tournament. Now, star guard Tre’ Von Willis, probably Jimmer Fredette’s biggest threat for MWC player of the year next season, is in trouble with the law after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
