BYU-Utah rivalry

One of the stories I’m working on has to do with possible conference realignment. I’d like to get some perspective from our readers on the subject of the BYU-Utah rivalry in regards to conference shifting.

Should expansion take place, leaving BYU and Utah in different conferences, how would that affect the rivalry? Would it weaken the rivalry or make it more intense? Would you like to see the two schools in different conferences (say, Utah in the Pac-10, BYU in the Big 12)? How would you feel about a BYU-Utah football game in September instead of November?
