Plaisted to spend at least another year in Italy

According to several reports, former BYU center Trent Plaisted will spend next season playing professionally for Reggio Emilia in Italy. Last year Plaisted played two games for Angelico Biella in the Italian league before a back injury sent him back to the United States, where he spent the entire year rehabbing. He recently played for the Detroit Pistons summer league team but saw his minutes diminish later in the league and is apparently not in Detroit’s plans for this season.
