Texas A&M's 40 minutes on the court

Each team gets 40 minutes of practice on the Waichovia Center court today, and Texas A&M is just about finished. It’s interesting to watch, because the players are not allowed to touch a basketball until the 40-minute clock starts, and once the horn sounds when those 40 minutes are up, they have to drop the balls and leave the court immediately.
The Aggies spent their entire 40 minutes shooting. They didn’t run any defensive sets or work on any offensive plays. All they did was shoot around for 20 minutes, and then run some shooting drills where they shoot from different spots on the floor from passes and off the dribble.
BYU only has about 10-12 guys who even practice. The Aggies have 16 players out there shooting and going through the drills.
My impressions are: They are tall and they look athletic. Just in watching these drills, they shoot well, they appear to be quick and they appear to have plenty of big men.
BYU’s press conference begins at 12:50 p.m. Eastern, then the Cougars get 40 minutes on the court. The Cougars practiced last night at antother gym, and they’re going to do the same later today.
