CSU's travails returning home from San Diego

An interesting little tidbit about Colorado State. This is from CSU’s weekly notes:
“The Rams face a reduced recovery time in preparing for No. 17 BYU after fog threw a wrench in their postgame return Saturday night. Fog prevented CSU’s Frontier charter from landing in San Diego, so the Rams had to bus 90 minutes north to Ontario, Calif. They arrived home at the McGraw Athletic Center at 5:15 a.m. Head coach Steve Fairchild won’t use that an excuse, though, saying that good teams overcome that type of adversity.”
We’re staying at the team hotel here in Fort Collins, a Marriott property located on Horsetooth Road. That’s an address that probably makes BYU coach Bronco Mendenhall smile.
