G Pittman transferring

BYU has just announced that freshman cornerback G Pittman has decided to transfer. Pittman has not been allowed to practice for the past few weeks due to “academic issues,” according to coach Bronco Mendenhall.

‘G has elected to transfer from BYU after this semester,’ Mendenhall said. ‘I have granted him a release and wish him the very best as he pursues his football and academic goals.’

Pittman has played in one game this season after redshirting in 2007.
