Practice begins

It appears the day off yesterday did the Cougars good. As they prepare to get onto the field for their first practice, there are a lot of smiles and banter going on. Several of them were talking about “The Dark Knight,” and it sounded like they were quoting lines from the film. The offensive line, just before running onto the field yelled in unison, “Dark Knight!”

I feel like I’m the only person in the world not to have seen the film. Maybe I am.

Jordan Pendleton, who missed Wednesday’s practice due to illness, is back on the practice field today. Former Cougar tight end Spencer Nead is among the visitors today.
