Fall camp report: Tom Sorensen out

The big news from camp today was the announcement that center Tom Sorensen, the projected starter at center, will be lost for several weeks due to a shoulder injury.
Coach Bronco Mendenhall said Sorensen has a consultation scheduled with a doctor today to look at his options. Surgery is a possibility. Meanwhile, Dallas Reynolds, R.J. Willing and Garrett Reden are all competing for the starter’s job at center.

Tuesday’s practice, the first morning session of fall camp, was conducted under overcast skies and it was considerably cooler than it was Monday.

I’ll have more about Tuesday’s practice later today.
