BYU future schedules

During the Gary Crowton years, BYU played some of its toughest schedules in history (USC, Georgia Tech, Boise State, Notre Dame, etc.). Things have changed during the Bronco Mendenhall Era. Mendenhall wants to schedule a mix of BCS opponents, or established programs like Boise State, as well as non-conference games that are almost certain to produce a victory. Many BYU fans have complained about bringing in I-AA teams like Eastern Washington a year ago and Northern Iowa this year.

What do you think of BYU”s scheduling philosophy? Would you prefer the program schedule games against so-called weaker foes, or schedule more tough games against elite opponents?

Next season, the Cougars begin a home-and-home series with Florida State. What other programs would you like to see BYU schedule in future years?
